His work is a narrative, addressing non-traditional topics like child abuse, mental health, trauma, parental loss, and even the joys and challenges of fatherhood. Harnessing the power of his journey, he masterfully weaves a story of hope, a spiritual awakening for the soul, and a rallying cry for this generation. In 2022, he became a recipient of the Arts and Science Council’s Creative Renewal Fellowship Award in the form of a $15,000 grant to pursue creative endeavors for the good of the entire community of Charlotte and the world. 

Mason is set to release “The Paperback Hero Saga,” a comic book conceptualized initially in 2018, which will be accompanied by a short film and score featuring actor Malcolm Jamal Warner and Emmy award-winning spoken word artist and voice actor Boris "Bluz" Rogers, in the the the fall of 2022. Additionally, Parker’s upcoming single, “Black Girl Magic,” will be available on all streaming platforms on June 3.
